John James Oliver Clasper (b 16th May 1908 in Bootle, West Derby), married 'unknown' His son Neville Clasper, was born in Sydney, Australia, and married Rhonda. (Ed;- This family belong to the Whickham/South Shields/Stockton Branch) Matthew Clasper (b 16th Jan 1894 in South Shields, County Durham), married Mary Ann Glover 26 Mar 1921 in the District of Sugley, Northumberland, England. They lived in Bank Foot, Scotswood, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland and he was working as a Machinist's Assistant. Later Mary Ann went to Australia. Two of their three children, Vera and Kenneth, settled there. Vera married Bob Appleton in 1944 in Northumberland, England and Ken married Norma Fairless in 1948 in Northumberland, England.
