1934) in Australia. George Henry Bage was a deep sea diver, and it is said that he once held the record for the deepest dive. It is believed George was with the Electrical Engineers. possibly working on searchlights. It is said that he was honoured and mentioned in the London Gazette. He was also at the Dardanelles, Turkey. He also worked on Hospital Ships 'Manunda' and 'Akubra' off the coast of Australia. George and Vera lived in Balmain, Australia.
